In the framework of showing the capacities of the Interior Ministry’s security readiness and preparations, the General Administration for Central Support of the Interior Ministry performed a parade on Tuesday to show its capabilities, with the presence of his Excellency the Interior Minister Mr. Fathi Bashagha, and the director of the General Administration for Central Support the Brigadier General Mr. Mohamed Fath Allah, and other directors of administrations in the ministry.
During the ceremony, the vehicles and patrols of the Central Security paraded, in addition to the phalanxes, and their skills and basic technical training demonstrations that they have obtained during their training programs.
The administration also presented some high skills demonstrations by the Central Support Forces, for instance, protection of important persons, martial arts, self defense, and demonstration of counter-terrorism and organized crime operations. The Unit of Investigation then presented a show for dogs trained to identify explosive devices, and prohibited substances.
His Excellency the Interior Minister reassured that the ministry is taking good care of its human resources through the development of technical and operational skills, and the solidification of their loyalty to the country and sacrifice and giving, and committment to fulfilling their duties despite the difficulties and challenges.
His excellency also confirmed that the ministry will not hesitate to deal with whoever threatens the security and stability of Libyans, and that among the most important objectives of the ministry is preparing security persons who are loyal to their country and who respect the citizens and who is principled to his orders, and his Excellency stressed on the necessity of gathering all the efforts, as the ministry is determined to overcome all the difficulties and challenges, which requires every person to double their efforts to help make the ministry appear as it should, and to work towards countering crime to eradicate it as his Excellency the minister has stated.
